Day 3. Status Quo

It’s been 3 days so far of clean eating and exercise.  I had 5 small meals and went for a good 20 minute walk at a quick pace.

I’ve got to get my back figured out, however.  20 minutes of fast walking around the neighborhood and my lower back was seized right up again.  Bummer.

That said, I’m really liking the start so far!

Day 2. Seize the moment

Today is turning out to be a decent second day.

I hit the gym, with plenty of energy it seemed, but I hit a wall pretty quickly.  10 mins in my back hurt and I wanted to quit pretty badly. But something changed – I seized the moment.  I kept going and ended up doing 25 minutes on the treadmill.  My back is pretty sore now, but I got enough done to feel like I accomplished something.

My food choices have been perfect today, as well.  All healthy with lots of water.

Day 1. Getting back to it

So I’m back in the swing of things.

Today I’ve ate very well and made an appearance at the gym (25 minutes fast walking on the treadmill).  Feels good, I must admit.  Good to be back on the road to good health.

Now I know it’s a long, winding road with lots of steep cliffs on either side, but I feel 100% committed.  I haven’t felt this strong about getting healthy in a long time, if ever.

Day 1 is almost over.  Let’s see what tomorrow brings!
